Perching here and gathering my thoughts ...

Lamb foetuses used in fur trade

07 March 2005 ~ 22:11

According to today's Metro newspaper, the fleeces of unborn lambs are being used to make fur coats. Dolce & Gabbano, Jean Paul Gautier and Karl Legerfield sell them for up to 3500. Shepherds in Uzbekistan and Kazakstan slaughter pregnant sheep and remove the foetus, whose downy fur is smooth because it has never been exposed to the air. They are paid 30-45 for the pelts.

Sorry but that is just sick. The poor little lambs never even got to take their first breath. Pretty much like the piglets whose foetuses are used in vivisection in US high schools. Why can't they use a video for God's sake?

I am sad to belong to the same species that do these things.
