Perching here and gathering my thoughts ...

Pet domesticated foxes?

12 March 2005 ~ 22:42

Russian scientists have apparently been conducting an experiment in Siberia to domesticate foxes. They have been doing this for 45 years and the foxes have become as tame as pet dogs, barking and wagging their tails. The scientists have not attempted to train or tame the animals at all. They have simply bred from only the most docile foxes who showed the most friendliness and least fear towards humans.

The domesticated foxes (the specific breed is the silver fox) have developed white stripes on their faces. They really do look extremely cute. I want one!
