The three "mouse" (or rat?) kateers? 11 September 2006 ~ 00:30 On Saturday 3rd September, I went to get two new baby rats from a small-animal rescue in Surrey. I ended up with three rats. Two four-month-olds: Honey, a Champagne hooded, and Star, a Silver Fawn hooded, plus their cage mate Fudge, who is Black-hooded and two years old. Fudge had been a teenage boy's pet, kept alone in a small hamster cage and not even named.As she had been living with the little ones after all that time with no companions I decided to take the three as a package. They are very socialable and curious and getting to know their new environment. Here is a picture of the three of them (Star is the one behind):  -  |
